When I came to London with my husband in 2006, I did a Business Management degree at the University of East London. My work plans, however, had to be put on hold due to the happy arrival of our son, Alex.
I wanted a job that I could fit around his time at the nursery and cleaning seemed the ideal option. I started working for a neighbour. She then recommended me to someone else and pretty soon – simply by word of mouth – I had more clients than I could cope with. I now work full time and manage other cleaners who I can guarantee operate to my own exacting standards.
